Boris' Brexit Deal

Yet more uncertainty is ahead for the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal as an MP vote is needed but uncertainty arises as to whether the Speaker of the House, John Bercow, will allow it. Due to MPs choosing a delay in voting on Saturday, Boris is hopeful that he can go forward with a motion to enact his Brexit deal through a parliamentary vote.

However, Bercow has stated in the past that he will not go through with repeating the voting of issues which have already been voted on before.

Nonetheless, a letter arose from the parliamentary sitting on Saturday in which Mr Johnson was forced to send a letter to the European Union to ask for an extension for the Brexit date. However, the PM is yet to sign it leaving the status of Britain and the EU in an arena of escalating uncertainty as deadlines draw near.
